  • battery relocation for Buffalo

just bought a 2003 Max Buffalo, been reading tips on here for a few months now,and just joined 6x6 world today,my question is R.I. put the battery in a very poor place making transmission adjustment almost impossible, even with the battery removed the welded in brackets for mounting are still blocking lower band adjustment, anyone relocate the battery?the other problem I see is if the battery is dead you can't raise the electric dump box to charge or jump the battery.looks to me like under the seat there is plenty of room and easy access to the battery as the seat flips up.the Buffalo already rides low in the rear while playing in the water,so I don't think moving battery forward some should be a concern?any suggestions, comments or concerns welcome.

Try and post a picture either here or in the gallery, it sounds as if someone bolted the box back further in the machine, only 4 bolts holding the box in my 05

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.
