Max IV seat mod?

From the newbie. I hope I've loaded this photo right. Maybe this has been seen and discussed before but has anyone noticed the seat arrangement in this MaxIV? Is there a story behind this?

interesting approach. I can see why someone would do that. now the driver is center behind the sticks and he can still seat four. mount it like ya would a quad or bike.Doubt i'll do it to mine but I can see the logic

Well, I have to say it does make a lot of sense. Hmm... Maybe I could find an old ATV seat. Naah.
