Bit of an updat on my Max 4.
As I use it 90% on th beach and saltwater crossings
My corrosion proofing seems to have worked.

So found rust between these mounting plates for gearbox.
Made up stainless brackets, cut the original doubler out
And welded new SS doubler with stainless arc rods.
Curious if anyone else has experienced this, as original doubler is tacked in a few spots
And water can sit between this and the chassis bracket
