  • Max two gas line routing through the body

I have a Max 2 with a Tecumseh OH160. I bought it used so don’t know what a new one looks like. The gas line routing is odd and goes up to the upper body higher than the tank. So it won’t really feed fuel to the pump except by siphon effort.

How is the fuel line run from the tank along the right side of the body originally from the factory?

russell .. mine comes right out of the right side of the tank and lays rite along the top of the black body fender under the brown top body and back to the motor. the line stays level all the way to the fuel pump. this is on a briggs vanguard motor. j.b.

Interesting, mine was run along the upper body all the way back to the roll bar and then drops down to the lower body. Somehow I think your routing is probably more along the lines of stock. It makes more sense anyway since that way you can raise the rear of the body to service everything without disturbing the line. I will be changing mine next time the body is up.

Thanks for the information. I would say mine is routed like Rickf stated. It is attached to the upper body near the handhold on the right side the again attached to the upper body about half way to the roll bar

John - what does your’s attach to to keep it up off the floor?

I am thinking about putting some of it in with hard steel line with some flexible line at the ends.

I keep having carburetor clogging up and fuel delivery problems
