Tire size on a max 2

The max 2 I just got is in need of new tires it currently has 21x11-8 and I want to know what is the largest tire with the 8 inch rims that would fit, simpletire has deestone d930 tires for around $49.99 each and I was looking at the 23x11-8 but want to be sure they would work and if anyone here knows about these tires. This is my first 6x6 and I'm trying to learn as I go so any help would be great.

Get some 9 argo wheels and throw some 25" rawhides under it

22 inch tires. It can take 24 inch with tub modifications though ie reshsping the tub "fenders" to create more room. (25 inch tires can fit, but it depends on the actual tires. Some 25's are smaller than others.)

it will fit the argo 24" tires with no modification at all the 25" rawhides are best for mud and water both my max 2s have it done . slight mod with front of tub and middle of tub heating and reshaping of tub. Many of us on here have done it.

A Max II can take 24's without mods to the "fenders"? Nice to know. I was under the impression it couldn't. (I had previously read the tub would need mods to use 24 and 25 size tires.) Thanks for sharing this info.
