Max 2 external exhaust

This is Motor Head and I'm looking for any info on moving the muffler outside over the left rear tire and can't find any info on heat shield or mounting brackets I have the new manifold and new muffler. i was just wondering if any body else has done this or if i should just wing it. Thanks for any help. does anybody have any pic's of the inside heat shield of where the exhaust goes thru the body for external muffler placement ? I'm looking for the factory installed heat shields and mounting of the exhaust over the left rear tire and where the exhaust goes thru the body I don't want to put the hole in the wrong place.

Not very good pictures. I moved my exhaust into the tub since the po cut the body up, bit you can see how the heat shield is from the factory for the most part. Don't mind the booty Fab patch it's on the list of things in this neverending project.
