  • Max 2 middle axle bearings

    Hi guys
I have now finished one Max 2 and started my sons one, but noticed slight play in the middle axle bearing I have done the front ones and back ones before but not the middle , what’s involved doing this axle, looks a lot of stuff in the way , is it worth it while is just has a bit of play?

Wiggy the centers are the same procedure as the ends, you need to remove the battery to get access to one of the inner bearings setscrews and remove your jack shaft chains along with disconnecting the outers for ease.
Wear point is up to you, by now you know what's what.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
    Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

wiggy... if you have the time , it's probably worth it for the piece of mind knowing you got new bearings in there , cause they will fail at some point. as jim said it's not that tough ..especially compared to the back axles ! johnboy va.
