  • New owner 2010 Buffalo with A few issues

We’ll I traded for the previously thought 2014 Buffalo. Runs good and looks to be not
Used a lot, but won’t move in reverse unless I pull back on the steering levers. I had hoped I would be breaking my tradition of buying something I had to work on before I
Got to use it. Anyway, I’ll post pictures later and see what you folks think. Transmission
Definitely looks more complicated than the Argo I just went through.

Almost forgot ignition switch won’t shut off engine, should be an easy fix with new switch
    Assembly I would think.

Figured out reverse problem, found discussion on this forum. I don’t know why the
Owner didn’t know you had to pull back on levers for reverse. Anyway, I got it for a lower
Price thinking I’d have to go in the transmission. This forum will be extremely valuable
      For my new project.

sounds like a great machine ...good for you. my engine would'nt shut off when i turned the key , it was just the ground wire came off where it plugs to the motor . have fun, johnboy va.

The ground wire is probably unplugged at the ignition switch or the engine. I had a customer bring me a max he had owned for two years and never got it into reverse. Ten minutes of training and he took it home without rebuilding the transmission. One thing to do for sure is change the transmission fluid.
