I just picked up a 2008 max iv with 170 hours. The chain and sprockets are very dirty and i would like to remove and clean them. Do the factory chains have quick links?
Yes, they have master links. Might take a bit of brushing to find it. I'd recommend going back with a gold master link to make it easier in the future...
