Flange gasket

Redoing all bearings and flanges on my max iv. Anyone try a rubber gasket on the outer flanges? Thinking about rubber gasket with 3m 4200.

Probably cheaper and easier to just buy a roll of 3m strip caulk, then you don't have to worry about it wrinkling up or anything if it's too tight. And the strip caulk will fill any imperfections in the plastic.
