2003 Max Axle Dimsneions

Any of y’all have a max 2 axle laying around who wouldn’t mind taking an overall length dimension as well as the location of the sprocket tube bolt hole?

Not sure if 03 is the same but on mine two of the axles have the hole in a different location than the other 4 because of how the sprockets line up.

The front right axle is the one I’m needing to fabricate. 03 should be the same as far back as the 70’s models I’d assume.

I can try to get you a measurement if I mess with my max at all later today, if I can't get anything done on mine I'm sure someone has one laying around.

Is the inner end turned down for the bearings or 1.250 OD? I’m away from my notebooks for a week but have all the dimensions for bolt trough and spline axles.

1.25” all the way, not turned down

With inboard bearings not bushings I assume from the year?

Sorry I got sidetracked and didn't get to mess around with mine today. Mine has inner bushings, not sure if the axles are different lengths or not from inner bearings.

I have 17.5” outside of flange to inner end. 13-15/16 face of flange to center line of bolt hole. Only problem is I have a question mark in my book next to overall length. I have newer spline axles for the 2 and they measure 17.5 “. Hope this helps. I might suggest pulling the axle and verify the dimensions.
