Max2/max4 tire swap

I have a 1994 max4 and a 1997 max2. The max 2 had i believe 22 inch tires
The max 4 has much bigger 26 tires. I wanted to know if they are interchangeable. I want the 26 tires on my max 2 for more ground clearance. Does any one know if this is possible?

Sorry, but no. The 26" tires will not fit. There are some 24"s that fit such as the Argo tire fits and performs nicely on a Max2. Any bigger than that and you will have to use a heat gun to reshape the tub. The 26s will not fit as they are way too large.

argo 25 inch onto a max

]my spare is a 25x11.5-9 goodyear rawhide 3,
i bought it from an argo dealer where i live for few$$$$ as it was excess stock/wrong order.
fits fine on the MAX IV, bit slower in water than the 26 inch terras.
