max 2 upper body mod

anyone ever cut the upper body in half for easier access to motor , trans , jackshafts etc. than just the lift and propping the whole piece ? just undue the back half wing nuts and take it off . or does it brace the lower tub from flexing. if so , i was thinking of adding a interior brace for that . any thoughts , thanks . j.b.

thanks race .... great ideas for me to now carry on . after just changing the center axle inner bearing , i was thinking " i got to get this more open " . good mods and pictures . johnboy va.
