Maxx IV carb issue

Have older maxx IV with18 hp vanguard Has mikuni carb with numbers 8075 7562 on it.Can not find any info on carb or rebuild kit or replacement carbs any info would be great

That doesn't look like a B&S part number. B&S part numbers are 6 digits.

I tried looking up 807562, and I found that 807562 was superseded by 841310, which is not a carburetor.

B&S parts manuals for Vanguard engines all have exploded views of the carburetor and other assemblies. The repair manuals have detailed disassemby, inspection, cleaning and assembly instructions with detailed illustrations. For my 16HP Vanguard V-Twin, the procedures are broken down by carburetor brand (Nikki, Mikuni, etc.).

Find the label on your Vanguard. On my Vanguard, the label is on the blower shroud. Get you model number, type and code. The code is the date code, which is useful for looking up parts in the parts manual. Go to Briggs and Stratton's website and look up the engine model and type number (xxxxxx-yyyy, where xxxxxx is the model and yyyy is the type) to get the parts manual. The repair manuals are available for purchase. The part number of the repair manual will be in the parts manual.
