Mike, that was the input I needed.
Just needed clarification b4 laying $$ down.
Was really hoping for was, Yea I use those tires and this was what I had to do, but it seams every using the Vamps goes for the larger size.
From reading here on this forum the Vamps sit wide, so maybe larger spacers.
Still have not totally desided on these tires.

I know this is a really old thread. I have a max 2 and I’m looking for beadlocks. What are (k-rims), and does Matt-O still make beadlocks? What is the best option for beadlocks now in 2020?

Depending on the size rim argo has 9" bead lock rims.

Max IV with 26x12 terras

My max 4 came with 26x12 and I guess x12 Goodyear terras.
The front ones do rub on tub with more than one person onboard.

I don’t quite get the process for hanging up by the body and using heat gun.

I am going to make up some spaces and rivet a stainless rub strip over the worn area. Am interested in the heat gun idea maybe the stainless strips might reinforce the the reshaping

I was none the wiser wrt to my max 4 biggest wheels,as I bought it with these wheels
Pretty sure on the RI option list they list 26 inch Goodyear’s as standard from 1999 onwards

The front do seem close in this photo, and they do rub when more than 1 person onboard.

What about these firestones ? Is anyone using these ?

Those Firestones are very similar to the Carlisle Tru Power. They are difficult to steer on hard ground because they are so flat from side to side. But, great traction. Mine don't swim well.

26 inch tires on MAX

I am interested in who is running 26 inch tires on their MAX,
"theBuggyman1" indicated he runs 26 inch

mine are goodyear terras, not much clearance on the front pair and am trying to fix that ATM

Going to make up spacers like these (which are more of a track version), thinking
not to project as much as these, maybe 2 inches or so to stop my front pair rubbing.

talked of heating tub and removing sag, was thinking of hanging front of my MAX 4 up, then using a jack or similar to extend between axle wheel flange and tub rim whilst heating to remove sag.
Then because tub wheelwell needs repair for rubbing at top, thin stainless sheet riveted and bonded to help hold the new shape.
that plus the wheel spacers im hoping to refit the 26 inch terras on the front without any chance of rubbing.
The center and rear tires seem to have enough clearance and wont need any mods.

I do run the 26" Terras and the 26" Tru Powers. they both rub in the front when the body flexes, just not too much. I added a 1" wheel spacer on all wheels, this helped a lot with the rub.

i found some in OZ that are 5 stud 4.5 inch pattern
and 50 mm thick. going to give these a try.

assuming rubbing is caused by the center of the tire, the extra 2 inches should help.

You can use a brace from the seat frame to raise and support the body so it doesn't rub the tires. I used the seat belt bracket and bolted it to the seat frame to keep the body from sagging.

That is a lot of body sag. I have seen supports mounted to the frame and then a cross bar to the body to support the body in these cases. I would use some sort of jack screw to raise it little by little as the sag "reverses".
Hope the spacers help. Maybe drop some air pressure to help?

If you choose these tire, go for the four ply. the eight ply will be too stiff.

you got any pics ?

i like your approach, if you jackscrew inside the tub, then install the front seat belt frame (redrill maybe)
it will push both axles down and increase clearance

will try this first, also my roll cage maybe pulling tub inwards , so will release that at the same time and it will also help
to push tub outwards and the front/top

Is this a factory piece? I had something similar on mine when I first picked it up.
The bolts had pulled thru the tub. since I made custom seat mounts nd suspension seats I removed this piece. I would design something similar with adjustment.
I ended up hanging the entire machine from the garage rafters on the outside edges, kept the doors closed on a hot summer for two weeks.
I actually gained some clearance between the tire and tub more than factory.
I use an aluminum roll bar, less downward pressure.
