  • Max4 center shaft removal

    Can someone steer me in the direction of where i might find instructions on removal of splined center shaft, so that i can change out sprockets??
    Yes, i did try a search, no luck, my phone is as jacked as the sprockets on the max...

      one of the first things I did new to these machines was get a parts catalogue for year and make. I can usually figure it out from that. If not I would also download the service manual and reference that. then I go to youtube and if after all that I come here for the level of experience factor.

      don't mean to be mean or play captain obvious, just stating what has helped me in the past. I was green and don't consider myself a mechanic.

            Look on the home page there was a video of axle removal for a II, basically the same. Some sprockets are kept in by set screws and some by snap rings.

            My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
            Joe Camel never does that.
