  • Need quick response (if possible) tire size and MAX II pulling hard to the right.

After reading numerous responses about pulling left or right issues others are having, I thought I would first check tire circumference and PSI in the tires. All tires have been aired up to 3 psi (putting tracks on now). Here are the measurements. Remember, vehicle is pulling hard right.

Looking from the rear of my Max forward:

    left side front: 5' - 3 1/2" Right side front: 5' - 3 1/2"
    Left middle: 5'- 3 1/2" Right middle: 5' - 2 7/8"
    Left rear: 5' 2 1/2" Right rear: 5' - 3"

All six tires have about the same amount of tread left on them.

Can this difference in size cause the hard right drift I am experiencing? If so, based on the dimensions above, any suggestions on how I can configure the tires to correct this? Maybe the problem with right drift is being caused by something other than the tires, but as I read in other posts, tire pressure/circumference was the easiest solution to check first.

It’s tires. 1” on one side will cause this. The fix will sound kind of strange. I start with all tires at 5 psi. Inflate the small ones to 18-20 psi for half day and return to 5 psi. If you didn’t gain enough circumference, repeat with longer period. These soft tires will stretch. You want the rear tires exact on a track rig even if you have to run 1-2 psi high in one.
