Hey guys, I wanted to share with you a few pictures of a trolling motor mount I made for my MaxII.
I took two 12" x 6" 3/8" metal and drilled holes in an X pattern on the plates. On the inside plate I welded a L angle iron 16" long to the top and the bottom. You will see in the pictures how I bolted them up. On the inside plate, I put two bolts through the top of the MaxII shell into the plate. I secured them with 5/16" flat washers, lock washers, and nuts on a 5/16" bolt. I then took the outside plate and bolted it to the inside plate with the bolts and washers.
Before I mounted the plates on the MaxII I welded a box shape on the outside plate for the trolling motor to mount to. I hope some of you all can understand what I did, and I hope I didnt confuse you guys. LOL anyways, here are the pictures.
