Don't forget to grease the inner and outer bearings and the jackshaft. You will also want to lube the choke cable and the throttle cable. Drain and refill the T20 fluid every 60 hours or so, adding the friction modifier

Normal engine maintenance will also apply.

Friction modifier is a limited slip axle additive that helps keep your T20 from "chattering".

To lube the jackshaft and inner bearings, lift the top tub of your Max II. The jackshaft is in front of the governor, and is a horizontal shaft that has a chain that around it's sprocket that runs vertically. Grease that zerk.

The inner bearings are on each axle, inside the frame. Grease each zerk.

To get to the outer bearings it is easiest to jack up your Max on one side and remove the wheels. You will see each grease zerk. Add just enough grease so that it barely comes out of the bearing crease. Use a marine quality grease.

They recommend 4 oz. of the Limited Slip Differential Additive from General Motors. It comes in a small bottle about 4 oz. for about $5-6.

The inner bearings are inside at the end of each of the six axles. On the Max II the one on the right middle axle is a &^%$#@ to get at.
