Nice job whipper, that is one good looking set up. I am building a 54 ci briggs for the hustler, with a little help form Al at performance, and I have been thinking about an exhaust. Just wondering where you found the glasspacs and the head flanges?

Another labor of love Very elegant. I agree, we would starve doing that for a living.

Although been a mechanic, didn't fully understand exhaust theory 'till reading up on the 'net in the last year. There's vacuum pulses in the exhaust, and having that pulse at the exhaust valve when it opens is a good thing(except for the 2 stroke guys). I was stuffing a shop rag up my tailpipe as the argo was idling.. I let go of it and it disappeared up the pipe

Nice work!! How on earth does one weld that pipe in such a clean way?? My first exhaust pipe job looked like hit everything except for the joint... that and I added new holes in the pipe
