          Whipper,

I commend you for your efforts on the "Springer" kits for the amphibious riders that want them. I can,t wait to see Bridgets Max II springer in action. I know she can,t either Seven inches of suspension travel will be awesome ,when riding an amphib over uneven ground.

Beautiful work and awesome pictures. I like the jig that you made to weld the tabs!

                Whipper,

Thats going to be one bad to the bone Max II , when your finished with it. It will I,m sure , be the envy of all who now own a Max II,,but don,t have a springer on it for theirs ! I would also assume , that Bridget is now really bugging you for a hotter motor for her Max II ?

Wow, great work Whipper! Approximately how much does each side plate weight? You have a good helper there by the way.

Beautiful I'm so glad that you take the time to post progress pictures. It really lets us feel the excitement too although I'm sure it's nothing to what you two are feeling. Just think in a week you can go out and both ride in springers. Ahhhh, how nice that ride must be.

                        Whipper,

If you have the time to,,please weigh all the parts of the springer kit ,and post what the whole assembly weighs.

Whipper, that looks great! Perhaps maybe some polished aluminum Douglas wheels to finish it off? Now that I have seen a Max springer, I absolutely have to have one. I cant wait to see how this is going to perform!!!

Oh and by the way Whipper, I like your idea of overbuilding things and more riding time and less repairing! Those VW bearings are a great idea, parts will be readily available, low cost, and durability. Cant beat that. Good luck on the test run!
