  • Quiet down a MAX II

I should start out by saying that I am new to the world of six wheeled ATV’s. I have recently started to build my first MAX II from the ground up. I intend to use it primarily during hunting season for getting around and removing bagged game from the woods. I was wondering if there was any way of quieting down the MAX? Is there a special muffler or exhaust system I would have to install?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

first off what engine do you have, the kohler is alittle louder then the briggs. you can get an internal exhuast from RI that is quiter than the external.

That internal exhaust set up from Recreatives Industries is very quiet. You have to have a modern upper body that is flat all the way across the back deck in order to run the internal exhaust and you will also have to purchase the cool air intake duct from RI to keep the motor from sucking in the hot air from the muffler.
