  • Max IV pulling to right

I just bought a Max IV with tracks. I just got back from my first time out riding and I was wondering what some possible reasons for why it pulls to the right might be? In order to go completely straight I have to keep the left lever pulled back about three inches.

Assuming the tracks are properly installed it sounds like the sticks are out of adjustment.

I've noticed with mine with the tracks, tire air pressure make a difference. If the right front is higher pressure than the left, it pulls right, and vice-versa.

Most of the time this is the problem. Even just a pound of pressure can make a big difference on the circumference of the tires and cause it to pull to one side. If you don't have one already, get a low pressure gauge and get all the tires to an equal pressure.

If there is still a problem, you may want to measure the circumference of each tire. Even with the same pressure in each one, differences in manufacturing can sometimes cause one or more tires to be slightly different sizes.

Once you have eliminated those two possibilities then I would move on to adjusting the T20. Let us know what you find.
