Just bought a max iv and found out it had trouble shifting. Got some good advice from maximum offroad and RI and I replaced the shift lever on t20. While I had it apart I tightened chains. Now it shifts very well but it clunks at times when in reverse maybe a small amount also when in forward. Could I have possibly got them too tight? I tried to go by what the manual said. I only lifted the rear off the ground when I adjusted maybe thats the problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Clunks
If you are talking about a clunk when it drops into reverse or forward it is normal for a t-20. Mine has done it since it was new. if you are talking about clunking once it's in gear AND YOUR MOVING IN REVERSE THAT'S ANOTHER MATTER.Originally posted by upmep View PostJust bought a max iv and found out it had trouble shifting.
