I used a $5.00 soldering iron (the pen type) and a 5 gallon bucket. Works great! A little hot on the fingers

    Save some Moo-la

If the body is HDPE, you could repair it yourself by welding. I was a little skeptical when I've read about doing it, but it really does work and it holds together. Save some money and try plastic welding, at least untill you know how much you will invest in the rebulid.

    Thanks Mike,

I just spoke with Dan at Recreative Industries and his best guess is mid 70's. Once I get the engine off and can get to the serial number on the tranny he can give me a more definate answer. They only have manuals for the newer ones and couldn't direct me to one for this old, is there any more resources for a shop manual? He said that a new tub and upper would fit this. Has anyone tried this and what mods did they run into or did everything line up and drop in?
    Thanks

Post it in the gallery. The file size restriction there is much larger.

I took picture today and tried posting but the file size was too big, I'm trying to figure out how to shrink them to get them up or I'll try again tomorrow and set the image size on the camera when I take them.
    THANKS for all the help!!!

    Manual for 70's Max IV

Anyone know where to get a manual for not sure but guessing early 70's Max IV. Is there any identifying characteristics to know about what model? There's not any serial numbers or tags I can find.
    Thanks
