I am preparing my Max II for track installation.I have checked all the bearings and they appear to have no roughness nor play.Mine has bearing cages. As I was greasing tonight I noticed that the seal turns as I roll the wheel on the middle and rear bearing in by the body, this is on the right side.It does not turn on the front one and if I touch the seal on the middle it doesn't turn as I rotate the rear however turns whether trying to hold it or not.Is this an imminent problem?I believe an over zealous greaser damaged the seals as they did not perform in water as I had seen the year before.I am resigned to changing them out but had hoped to get snow usage first.Any opinions? Any would be appreciated.

Unless the seals look distorted I wouldn't worry about it. Even if the seals are damaged then you will get some water in the tub and eventually wear out the bearing a little more quickly but if you keep an eye on them you will catch it before they freeze up. You should see some play in the bearings, feel rough spots, or hear some squealing before that happens. So get the plow ready to go.
