hi i have a max 340t that i have just purchest, and it did not come with a drive belt. does anyone know what belt fits it? any help would be great. thanks, gary

The Max 340 should be of appx. 1974 vintage and if so it will take a Carlisle drive belt number MAX1034M2. Now the funny part........if you follow the threads here you will see that I have had a @!%^$# of a time finding the belt number for my own 2003 MaxII but I have done so much research that I now can size a belt for every machine built.......except my own . LOL Actually just today the Dayco Belt company advised me that the old number I have been trying to cross reference is actually a Carlisle number.So I have only been able to size your belt for about 15 minutes before posting this. LOL
