What is a 2001 Max 11 that "needs work" worth?

I've read almost all the postings and haven't found anything close. I'm looking at a 2001 either 16 or 18 horse Max 11. It looked pretty good covered in snow. The owner says it needs the center bearings replaced but other than that nothing else. He had the bearings right from the factory. What do you think it's worth? Anything I should look for? Thanks...

It looks like this is your first post. Welcome. Tell us more about what up grades it has. Find out for sure which engine it is.

An 18 hp can squeak by running tracks,a 16 hp. is too light.If they are not sure of the hp. brace for 16 hp..Center bearings only?Maybe.I would think the stress would tend more to be on the front or even rear so its possible they will need replacement as well.It probably has some hours on it if the bearings are gone.Like argohunter said, you'll need to know if possible the hours,the accessories if any and specifically what repairs it needs.If it is 18 hp. and only needs the center bearings replaced maybe it has a winch and roll bar then it is worth $2500-3500 depending on a lot of variables.
