Ok when i try to turn to a hard right the MaxIV has a hard time with it ,,,but when at higher speed it does great ,,could this be because of the linkage ,and if it is how do i know? I just have put new idler sprockets on it ,the MaxIV did not have a problem turning right until i changed them .Did i do something wrong when changing the sprockets? it seamed to be doing very well except taking that sharp right turn,,,
Max IV has a high out put heater, custom cab, windshield wiper, suspension seat, new hydraulic brakes ,cargo rack on the front ,,,and I'm loving every minute of this .

OK, couple of things, first be sure you have the new idlers alligned with the chains. Then when you tension the chains, be sure you have the tires on the side being tensioned, off the ground, so you can roll the tires until you find the tight spot in the chain, tighten to the correct deflection(slackness). Ya see when these sprockets are welded in place the manufacturers are apparently not very precise with the placement, which causes our chains to have tight areas AND loose areas as the axles roll. So you have to raise the tires to properly tension the chains. As you roll the tires watch the chain and you will see it tighten and loosen when it gets to its tightest point, set your idlers so you have about 5/8" to 3/4" slack and lock the idlers.

A tip on turning, when making turns, especially sharp ones, try not to turn from a dead stop, it helps to have some motion, and make a series of small corners rather than one hard turn. It is also easier on your equipment.

Hope this helps and Happy Riding!
