The first page of the Remove the T20 in your Max II article has some instructions on loosening the jackshaft to get the T20 out. Follow those steps and you can remove it.

Ok its off thanks Mike . WHAT WHERE THEY THINKING!!!!!!!!!!! Why would u use a small bolt for the ajuster that holds the shaft up this is the 2ad time its broke.I welded it in the the max last time. This time I polled it out and I'm going to weld a bigger bolt hope it holds this time!!!!!!max2 with 3000lb winch,split shifter, off road lights, and 50 amp alternator

yup i think we all have trouble with that shaft ,and to think if there was 3/4 " more tub clearence below the center axle shaft they could have put a bigger sproket on there and done away with the jack shaft, ive been thinkin about streching the tub and doing just thatHe who has not cruised the back country in a 6x6 , has not lived life to it's fullest

Some people try to turn the two smaller ones without loosening the four larger bolts and that can cause some damage. Just a thought.

yes thats wright Mike but put it under a hard load and it will brake the left side bolt .I'm guessing that bolt had metal futigue .Both time it broke I was in the creek climbing up the rapids the waters not deep any where from 1 inch to 2 foot but lots of rocks its a frame twister I have broke some welds on my frame on the right side in front and behind the t20 there too.But its way to much fun not to ride theremax2 with 3000lb winch,split shifter, off road lights, and 50 amp alternator
