Hour Meter

I have a newer Max II and the hour meter keeps blinking to lube. How can I turn this off so it doesn't perpetually keep wearing the battery down?

once you start using this machine it will reset itself back to the hour mode ,im located in southern Me do you do lots of riding out your way?

Thanks for your reply. I actually heard the same thing from someone else I was talking to today. Yes, I do a fair amount of riding but no mud. Mostly steep, hilly and wooded. I imagine that living in Maine, you have a great deal of terrain.
