Ok let me say that the late 90 model Max IV just a little tight on room in the back seat ,,so,, i decided to fix this problem with out going to the Bank to pay for it .So here is how i fixed the bad ride in the back seat ,,( 1. i looked to see how far i could move it back ,,on mine it could be moved at least 4 inchs back ,,but if i moved it 4 inch back it would be in the screen next to the breather ,,so i cut out about 3 inch of the hood and put . Then put the hood back on the max and put the seat back in and see if this is what you want ,,and if it is you will need to drill new holes for your seat ,,,and as far as the hood goes you will need to make it stronger it is week because when you cut off the front part to move the seat this made it week .Ijust took the part i cut off and modified it to fit the new shorter hood i just made ,,and when you done with the seat modification ,,you will need to bend the floor panel witch is very easy to do .I put mine in front of a kerosene heater the one that blows and heated it up and bent it to fit the new look i just gave the MaxIV Mudd Hogg
