throttle/choke/chain tension

Got three questions that i couldn't find an answer too searching the thread.
-What is the throttle cable length for a 1998 max II?
-also the choke cable length?
-and finally anyone ever use the chain tensioners from richards relics for the max...are they worth it???

choke cable for a Max II. i just used a 9' from napa to replace one (18hp briggs vanguard) . i ran it down the left side of the body and the length was perfect. just had to bend the end to fit the choke lever on the engine.

i used attex tensioners in my wifes max. her old ones wouldn't hold anymore. i had to drill holes in the mount to bolt the attex tensioners to.

not sure on the throttle cable length

I made my chain tensioners and they work good I just copyed the ones from richards relics I thought theres where a bit high. Not sore about the throttle cable length

im not sure of the length of the choke or throttle cable but i bought some chain tensinors from richards relics for my old max when i was redoing it. They looked like rollers with a nylon wheel the chain rolled on if those are the ones your talking about. Personally there the best ones iv ever had on a machine iv owned. i thought they worked great and were worth the buy.

alright answered my own for the throttle and choke. choke is 10ft and throttle is 65in cable 60in casing.
I'm gonna give the chain rollers a try when i get some extra cash thanks for the input rebuild.

i need help with tensioners are the the same on all machines?
can u buy universal ones?
i have a starcraft one of 54 and the tensioners are home made and they suck can anyone help me?
