How to jack up a Max II or best place to jack from.

I am looking at buying a 1998 Max II and want to jack it up so I can spin the wheels in neutral to here the bearings

I would jack it up right by the edge of the tub, but use a 2x6 thats at least a foot long between the jack and body to spread the weight out over more of the body and insure that the frame is taking the load.
