Max IV is this the right price.

I am looking at a 2004 Max IV. It ihas a 25 hp Kolher and 26 " tires. I noticed dents in one of the rims It has a roll cage. the body looks good There was no water so i dont know if it leaks. The chains looked good and the bottom was clean The owner wants $4800. What do you think it is worth.

I think that is a member's on this site. I don't think it's a bad price. There was one here in NC a while back that was a 2005 with just a few more hours and it went for $4000 with about the same options. I thought that was a good deal. It had a factory cage on it though where the one you are looking at is custom. That's not necessarily a bad thing but if you want to add a factory top or windshield it my be prohibitive. Just thought I would point that out. If it's close to you and it is as clean as you say it is then I would haggle on the price a little and go for it.

I have decided against the Max IV. I have ahard time getting in and there is no leg room. I am a short guy and my knees touch the front. I enjoyed reading about them and it fit some of my needs but iam going to get sxs with duals or Jwheez.
