  • chain for max expensive alternate root?

So I priced chain from factory and richards relics seems to be expensive is there a alternate route?looking for oring and not cheap tractor supply, but a good quality chain thats going to last.also What are the sizes of all the chains pitch and how many links as I think this would be helpful in finding chain?do they make any service manuals for the max's?

you will need about 30 feet of #50 (or 530 o ring) and 6 feet of #60. i bought US Diamond from motion industries a few months ago at around $5.80 a foot. chain prices seem to have gone up a lot over the last year. i don't think there is a "cheap source" for GOOD chain. pick a brand and start doing some online shopping.

#50 chain has a pitch of 5/8". i bought mine from McMaster Carr, and it seems to be just fine as long as you maintain it
