Bearing replacement part numbers with company name

As I'm sure you Max owners know, in 1996 the IV model bearings were different sizes for the inner and outer. I've replaced one axle set of bearings so I know this to be true.

What I want is the exact part number for the inner and outer bearings on the 1996 Max IV ATV from Buffalo Bearings. I've read most of the posts concerning both the Max IV and the Buffalo Bearing and no-one has actually posted the order numbers for the bearings that we can use as replacements. The website Buffalo Bearings Inc. shows a lot of bearings for ATV. but which one is appropriate for the 1996 Max IV.

I haven't tried calling them yet so I don't know what information they might have.

Heres only a suggestion...Pull you current ones out and order that exact part number. It is the only way to be sure. Also check out Pillow Block Bearing Ball Bearing Disc Harrow Bearing Roller Chain V-Belts Radial Ball Bearings they are really good people and accept paypal!

Did you ever find out the part numbers? I have a 96 as well and am needing to do the same thing.

yeah i'm kinda of looking for the same thing so i can have all the new ones before i start ripping it apart no down time waiting to order parts , although i need all the chains ie. i need sizes and length too but i just got the parts list from recreative ind. but the bearings are not a manufactures no. it's theirs

Just into a bearing job on my Max II I believe I might have some bearing numbers.There are two sizes of outer bearings depending on the vintage they are 62 mm and 72 mm. The part numbers for the 62 mm are HC206-20 and the 72 mm is HC207-20 the ones I got are triple sealed so a designation of R3 follows these numbers.The ones in on the frame are 62 mm and the number for these is SA206-20. These are in my case for 1 1/4" solid axles.
