  • MAX Brake question

The factory pads for for the front is ridiculous in price and I have even had one of the part suppliers tell me many people modify car pads to work and I was wondering if anyone out there has done it what Make Model and year of vehicle works best. Thank you. Jared101

No need to modify anything. If I recall another forum member ( egoperf ) told me they originated from Cub Cadet tractor brakes and are very reasonable in price. Perhaps if you PM him he can give you more specifics.

Mark is absolutely right. You could probably scrounge some early Cub Cadet brakes off ebay, although they still bring a good dollar on there too.

The pads are from a model 107 cub cadet. you can also get the brake material from mc master carr and cut and rivet it on your old pads.
