question about an untitled 2008 max

It's not stolen but never titled...

I want to import it to Canada but must find a way to get a certificate of origin or title for it...

In NY I was able to register my two Attexes without a title by paying the tax on them and having them weighed. I had to do all this through the Dept. of Motor Vehicles. I also needed to bring in a picture of the VIN. They gave me a non-transferable registration until the state did a check on the VIN to see if it was ever reported stolen. After a month or so, I got a transferable registration.

thank you, I will have a 2008 max iv trucked to upstate NY (champlain) and while I will get the Manufacturer statement of origin, the MAX was never tittled....
