Had my max out this morning and well it was about 6 degrees on the high side. I parked it came back and my throttle cable is froze solid. I start it up and turn on my cable heater. And it decides to quit working for me. No red light on and sat for 15 minutes. I used 550 cord(good soldier always has some) and used that to run the throttle. I'm glad i had that since i was a few miles back in the woods. Accelerate with a piece of rope in your mouth pretty funny if anyone saw me.
So any suggestions for a good after market heater? or just get a new one from RI?
And add 550 cord to you trail kit!! That plus duct tape for obvious reasons.

may want to check the connections on the back of the switch ,they are prone to jiggling loose

I'm sure you've already checked, but at least some of the throttle cables I've seen are running fuses..... I don't remember if any of them run relays, too.... either component could be to fault if present....

Never thought of a fuse being present. I'll check the switch tommorrow for sure as well. Thanks guys!

Hey it was the fuse. Put a new one in and I am good to go. Also the switch connections are loose...when the machine is running they will come loose after a few minutes and shut the heater off. One more thing to fix. Thanks for the help again.
