    Why is it the throttle cable on my max freezes i have own alot of atvs and never had them freeze and they all set out side mine has no holes in it there was nothing in it when i took it out and got it working and whats a new one fron ri cost

    A new one is about $35, but if your lever is all plastic, you will need one of those too, another $35.
    Save your old one....pull the cable from the sheath, use a grease needle to inject grease through the whole length of sheath and reinsert the cable greaseing it as you put it back in. The small amout of water freezing in it should no longer be a problem.

      the reason it freezes in a 6x6 is that it sits with both ends up, so there is no way for water to drain out. on a quad for example, one end is up at the bars and it runs downhill to the carb. any moisture can just run out the carb end of the housing
