Argo 18" supertracks on my Max IV using 22" tires (Maxxis 4snow)

Just to let you know; I had to cut 1 inch from the track width (inner side) so it could clear the tub. Even with this I had to heat/push some features in the lower body to clear the tracks.

the recipe :

2008 Max IV
22x10x8 Maxxis 4snow tires
18" argo supertracks
2.5" Argo wheel spacers

the tools : a good heat gun and your trusty skill saw.

so yes, the MAX IV lower body SUCKS when you need to run tracks; RI should consider retooling the lower mold. The newer argo avengers/frontiers can run WIDE tracks over the stock 24 inches tires...

Yup, Ontario Drive and Gear got the message from Argo owners; they can now run 20 inch wide tracks over the 25" tires

on my 2008 Max IV; the maximum track width without having to rework the tub is 15" over 21 inch tires...

the 22" 4 snow tires are almost 23 as I can't put my hand comfortably between the tracks and the tub where it is lower (in front of the backseat). I had to push in the small indentation RI made in that lower part to clear the tracks
