    Doesn't look like you can have both and still fold the windshield down...

    How do you travel for long distances if you have both?

    From R.I. website: Front Cargo Rack
    75 lb. capacity. Tubular steel, powder-coated black. Works with or without winch. Also works with or without windshield; windshield folds down and rests on rubber bumpers installed on cargo rack.
    Are you worried about towing?

      yes - towing on trailer for 400 miles...think it will work legitimately with the rack?

        The rubber bumpers on the rack should protect the windshield.....you could always add padding, and I would strap it down with a couple of rubber bungee cords. Or tow it in the up position.

          i have both a windshield and a rack no problems towing but for safty i put an extra bungee cord over the middle of the window from the winch to the dash board
          they dont call me mad because im angry!!!!! im just a little crazy thats all!!!!
