Max IV has a high out put heater, custom cab, windshield wiper, suspension seat, new hydraulic brakes ,cargo rack on the front ,,,and I'm loving every minute of this .

if you go to the ope engine site,i think they can tell you what engine is a direct replacement.although a honda engine would be sweet.Small Engine Warehouse: GX660TAF - Honda Engine 21HP 660cc Horizontal 1-1/8" Shaft, Fuel Pump, Oil Filter, Oil Cooler

you WANT a briggs&stratton Bandolero racing engine; it's a bolt on replacement that will last a long time in your application.

I have one in my 2008 500t and it's just amazing to push it with a lot of rpm available; even on tracks, it's faster and more fun

edit, if the engine is still good, you may consider tweaking your engine instead of changing it. it's easy to advance the timing and modify the governor (info is available on the lawnmower racing forums
