Bearings letting water into the Max I have a quick fix

I was going to replace the Wheel bearings in my Max 4, Tell I came up with a fix. I first clean all the dirt off the bearing and axles. Then in the void between the bearing dust cover and the locking coller, I packed water proof grease into this area. Then I installed a 3/16th x 2 1/4" Oring , The Oring fills the gap. I also had the cut the oring and glue them back together around the axle. After the glue sets up I stretched the oring over the lock and into the grove. I also added some sealer around the axle at the lock to prevent water running along the axle and into the bearing. It works well and no more water getting in.
