  • repairing a max II with a polyethylene body

I was was wondering how difficult of a project it would be to repair a max II with a polyethylene body. The guy that has it stated there are some cracks close to the frame and would probably needed repaired before it would be able to swim for a long period of time.

Tim, depending on how big the cracks are, and if they are near major stress points will help us be able to tell you how to go about doing this. There are a lot of people that use plastic welders on poly body machines and repairs can be made successfully. If you could post up some pictures we could give you a better idea on how to go about performing the proper repairs.

I don't have pictures of the cracks, just going by what the guy said. I have not seen the machine personally it's in upper michigan. was curious if poly bodies are easy to repair or if i was wasting my time.
