max IV questions

hi folks,...newbie here.....you folks are the best !

after reading many posts,I think I am sold on a MAX IV...but I have some questions

1) do all MAX IV's have solid axles ?

2) what size engine is best for all around usage (speed and torque) ?

3)whats is the best mods to do to a max for speed,dependability,and fuel efficiency ?

4) who do is the most reasonable dollar-wise for getting spare parts ?

5) what are the most common problems that occur with the MAX IV ?

hi welcom some do some doint depends on the year the newer ones do / as for engin size 18 briggs is a great one, 23 or 25 kohler is out standing thats what's in our IV love it / the kaw 27 29 hp do pick up more hp and u can feel the difference . there great jest like they are for speed power a bandelo engin will add both . we try to buy as munch from rec maker of the max as posible keeps them in working .jest keep ur chains oiled beraing greesse ahould not have munch problem robbie
