  • T20 top left plunger issue (need suggestions)

I just purchased a 1999 Max II which runs great but I noticed it pulling to the left when I drive. I check pressure and diameter and seems to be ok. I noticed when pulling back on the right stick the would straighten thus applying the brake but is very tiring. I looked at the T20 plungers and noticed the top left plunger is recest a bit and doesn't have the movement like the right hand side.
Looking at it it seems that could be the problem as if it is braking on the left causing the max to drift left with full motion of the right tires. Could that be the problem? and if the plunger is recest a bit will adjusting the bands fix that problem?

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, start by adjusting the bands since you have already measured the tire diameters. There are other things that it could be but band adjustment is probably the next likely suspect. It could also be something as simple as a bearing that is worn more than the other side, a sprocket that has been replaced on one side and not the other, etc. That kind of thing is not as likely as bands that need adjusting. Let us know what you find and welcome to the site.
