  • Pulling right

Hey folks, new to the site and forums in general. Just picked up a 04 maxx II and been doing some work(it sat for three years unattended) got it running great but it is pulling right. It is really pronounced when I let off the throttle. I need the go thru the manual I figured I would ask in case anyone had tips or tricks for the adjustment

check tire pressure and tire size. at differnt pressures the tires travel ferther then the others makeing it pull to one side

Once tire pressure is established and possibly corrected the next thing to check is band ajustment on the t20 if the problem persists.

If the tires are all of equal circumference & it still pulls, check the chain adjusters & adjust if necessary. It's not too likely that the T-20 needs adjustment on an 04 that was sitting for 3 years, but ya never know. I'm betting it's a simple fix.

Thanks everyone, I have spent the last couple weeks going thru this thing top to bottom, runs fantastis and tracks straight as a arrow. full and complete service done, bilge pumps installed and upgraded plugs installed. I have been running it on my property, but just had it out for a day of riding Sunday and it was great, first swim too! I would like to know about any performance modifications???? seems like a better carb has to be availible? thanks for the help and input!
