It may not be common in Florida but those engines are common in snowmobiles making it very easy to find parts if and when needed.

Is yours a two cycle motor?

You best bet is to contact a BRP snowmobile dealer

The Rotex engines I work with in Ski-doos have oil injection so I am not 100% sure what the perfect mix is. The older sleds had a very rich oil mixture but I have been told that with new 2cycle oils it does not need to be as rich. I have seen the mixture as rich as 20:1 on a Rotex but most are around 40:1 or 50:1. If you go to rich you may just fowl the plugs and possibly gum up the carb. No big deal both can be easily cleaned. To lean of a mixture could cause problems far beyond cleaning.

I have also seen an 8hp JLO engine in a Jiger take 16:1 oil mix but I usually do not see it that high not even my weed trimmer or chain saws take that rich of a mixture.

I would say 32:1 would be safe with quality two cycle oil but you may want to get in touch with a BRP dealer. This will not be the same engine as the Sea-doos they are lake/ocean water cooled.
